༄་་་ About the Digital Mahayana Library ་་་༄

Mission & Purpose
The Digital Mahayana Library exists to make Buddhist texts accessible to all seekers of wisdom. Our mission is to provide clear, readable translations of Buddhist works directly from their original languages, presented in a format that's easy to understand and free from academic complexity.

Whether you're a dedicated practitioner or someone newly interested in Buddhist teachings, our library is designed to be approachable and user-friendly while maintaining the authenticity and depth of these sacred texts.
About Our Texts
All texts in our collection are translations from original source languages. We believe in providing direct access to these teachings without the barriers of academic complexity or specialized knowledge requirements.

Our entire collection is in the public domain, meaning these texts are freely available for all to read, share, and study. The translations themselves, being made directly from original sources, are also in the public domain.
Translation Approach
Our texts are presented in three formats:

• English translation for clarity and accessibility
• Sanskrit transliteration for traditional reference
• Devanagari script for connection to the source

Each translation aims to balance accuracy with readability, making these profound teachings accessible while maintaining their authentic meaning.
༄་་་ Dedication of Merit ་་་༄

May the merit generated from making these teachings available
Benefit all beings throughout space and time
May all who encounter these texts
Find their way to complete awakening
